Exam Success for Gwawr Jones

The Partners of Nock Deighton Agricultural LLP are proud to announce that Gwawr Jones has recently passed the Central Association of Agricultural Valuers (CAAV) exams becoming a Fellow of the association.

The exam, which is spread over two days, contains both practical and written elements and took place at the Royal Welsh Showground in November 2021. Ranging from practical livestock, fodder and crop valuations to agricultural tenancy, valuation and taxation advice, the exams cover a broad spectrum of work undertaken by an agricultural valuer.

James Neame, Partner, said “We are delighted that Gwawr has passed the CAAV exams. Given the demanding nature of the exams, this is a testament to the hard work and effort that Gwawr has put in to revision and studies for the exam and provides a reflection of her capabilities.”

Gwawr undertook her university placement with Nock Deighton Agricultural LLP before returning to the firm full time as a graduate surveyor to become the first female auctioneer in the firm’s history.
