Appointment Of New Roles At Bridgnorth

The Partners of Nock Deighton Agricultural LLP are delighted to announce the appointment of a new Partner and a new Graduate Surveyor joining the business.
With a local farming background and an agricultural interest through both his upbringing and academic studies, James Neame joins the team as an Equity Partner.
Having studied Agriculture and Environmental Management at Harper Adams University College, James returned to University to complete a Master’s Degree in Rural Estate and Land Management in 2012.   Following a period of working for a small firm of Rural Chartered Surveyors in North Shropshire and Wales, James joined Nock Deighton Agricultural LLP in 2016 as a Rural Surveyor.  James worked hard and became a Member of the RICS and a Fellow of the CAAV in his first 12 months with the firm and has already established a strong client portfolio both in the Midlands and in West Wales following the tenancy acquisition of Newcastle Emlyn Livestock Market.
Now established within the firm, the partners invited James to join the Partnership as an Equity Partner effective from the 1st July 2020.  James said “I am extremely pleased to be joining the firm and am looking forward to helping to take the business forward”.
The partners believe James to be a major asset to the business with a calm head on young shoulders and approachable character.
Gwawr Jones recently successfully completed her Rural Enterprise and Land Management Degree at Harper Adams part of which included a placement year working with Nock Deighton Agricultural LLP, concluding in the summer of 2019 and leading to a job offer as a Graduate Surveyor.
With a family farming background near to the Mid Wales coast, Gwawr with an interest in auctioneering, will be dividing her time between the firm’s livestock market sites in Bridgnorth and Newcastle Emlyn whilst training to become a Chartered Rural Surveyor. Gwawr is starting to auction the calf section at Newcastle Emlyn every Thursday on her own and is the first female livestock auctioneer in the history of Nock Deighton Agricultural LLP.
Rob McCabe, on behalf of the partners, expressed the delight of the partners in welcoming both James and Gwawr to the firm, continuing the firm’s tradition of bringing forward young ‘talent’ to share in the success of the business now in its 190th year.
